| Your Basic Playback Code |
Copy the playback code below in red. Simple Installation Instructions:
Optional Overlay
Considerations for Flash Websites: If you have a site built in flash or have flash elements in your web page next the video, you must add the wmode=transparent parameter to your flash elements in order for our our video to play over top of them. |
| Your Playback Options - A Basic Idea of how it works |
| Now you can add a few basic features by yourself to spruce up your video. Take a look at the code below: <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"> v_theflv=' '; v_flvbase='http://www.yoursite.com/videos/'; v_alignvideo='bottomright'; </SCRIPT> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" src="http://code.javahd.com/js/ .js" type="text/JavaScript"></SCRIPT> Notice that there is an extra section with a new line in there that starts with a v_ and appears to align the video to the bottom right of the page. Well that is only one of many options you may alter. These alterations are simply a modification of the default options we have stored in our database. Here is a list of your choices. Simply add the extra section above your default code, and then place any of the options below. That's it. If you need help just call. |
| Variables to Change the Location of the video |
Having your video appearing where you want and when you want on your website has never been easier. For instance if you have a website with the content on the sides of your web page; you will be able to optionally put your video in the center of the page instead of the default location which is normally to the sides which could cover up your vital or relevant text, data, or information. The good thing about this feature, you will be able to reformat the video to fit you website without having to redesign your website to facilitate the video instead. v_alignvideo='bottomleft';
|
| Variables for making the video autoplay |
v_autostart='yes';
|
| Variables for resizing the video |
Whether you want your video big, small or in-between, choosing and customizing your video size to match or complement your website is as easy as it is important. If you have a smaller area to work with on a particular page of your website, compensating for this is “no problem”. Your video can be resized to fit your web-style and capturing zones; hence resizing your video to better compliment these changes, lets say, a banner, graphics or background color or maybe even some smaller area like below or beside the contact information normally in the footer of document. v_scaleflv='yes';
|
| Making your video Clickable |
What better way to interact with users in real-time by realizing, communication is the key to convincing, capturing and maintaining your audience. Do you like this idea? Y/N. As simple as a yes/no answer are thought of, so is your video response. With just one click away, you can have your audience directed to any desired link, page, or frame or your website. E.g. suppose you have a website or webpage with no actual content or buttons. are smaller or harder to find. You can target your audience immediately by having a button appear on or around your video while playing or stopped that will enable your user to click instantly to say E.g. buy now, contact us or even learn more. Anything you want the button to say or go where; when you click. You can also have your video either opening into the same page, different window or new tab. Think about the different impressions this could make not just for your site but for all first time users and those returning. v_theurl='http://www.gosomewhere.com';
|
| Looping your video |
Just As the name suggests! Have your video loop (repeat) after it is played. So if you want to play your video and get your point across all you have to do is have a loop command attached to your video code. E.g. say u have a store or display window and a monitor/screen, you could have it looping repeatedly, over and over again. Imagine the implications when visitors or passerby’s stops by your site or on physical location, they (potential customers) will immediately see and possibly hear what you or your organization is all about. Most onlookers will be curious based on human nature and wouldn’t pass without seeing and wanting to hear what your video is about. Another E.g. would be for conventions. Instead of standing around all day and saying and answering the same questions, having to paying a spokesperson day after day and hour after hour: Your video would repeat it self in the exact same way. And because its pre-recorded, there won’t be much room for mistakes or otherwise. v_theloopflv='yes';
|
| Changing the Video Buffer |
This is perfect for people in a remote area where internet speeds aren’t so great or maybe facing hardware (computer) issues. E.g. a slow computer or even a cell phone where the speed isn’t as good as ADSL or cable. You don’t want your targeted audience to see your videos sputtering now, will you? For instance if your targeted audience is on a small island you would want to set your buffer rate (speed of which the video will start to play) to a higher number. This will allow the video to preload and then play smoothly even with an outdated pc. v_videobuffer='25';
|
| Modify the loader appearance |
At times you may want the video to silently load in the background without giving any indication that a video is about to appear. At other times you may want to show the user that a video is being loaded, especially if they have to click on a button to play the video. This variable changes the loading percent indicator from being fully visible to completely invisible depending on your needs. v_loaderalpha='30';
|
| Adding Call to action on screen |
Example 1. - This would be a good option for a website, individual or company that’s conducting surveys or some sort of Yes and no responses. You could use this option to collect users’ responses and saving data and information collected. Example 2. - You can have them go to another page or video. Example 3. - Asking them questions that would need appropriate answers like, Are you age 18 and older y/n to continue. After selecting the appropriate answer the call to action would redirect clients/users based on answer. This could redirect you to another video, section of the website, a new URL etc. think about the different possibilities. v_answeryes='http://www.gosomewhere.com';
|
| Locating the video within the canvas (Advanced) |
v_scaleflv='absolute';
|
| Change the type and location of the player controls |
E.g. If you don’t like the color, shape, appearances of your play buttons/bar, they can be customized to meet your needs. So if your website is green. We could make player & bar to compliment your color schemes. You can have your play bar when and where you want on a webpage/site. Have your play button arrive in on the location where u actually wanted it. Also have it disappear at a specific time. v_thecontroller='http://code.javahd.com/container/controller1.swf';
|
| Controlling the volume of the video |
If your video’s volume is too low or too loud for your environment, no worries! The video’s audio can be set at anytime to compliment your viewer attention. Say your targeted audience is an older mature, or younger your volume can be set. If you have back ground music also, you may want to adjust volume to accommodate and ballancing. v_theflvvolume='100';
|
| Adding background music to the video |
Like above mentioned about video volume: you may want to add your own background music or sound (e.g. nature sounds) from any location on the internet that you wish. You may also set the volume to compliment your video. v_videomusic='http://ww.abcwebsite.com/sounds/abc.mp3';
|
| Adding a background or foreground picture or flash animation to your video |
So, you have your video. But now you want a last minute background that you can change at anytime you wish. Or maybe you want another animation to play over the video that pops up buttons or flashing text. This option will accommodate just that. Your background or foreground image/animation will play all through the video. Example - If your talent is talking about the beach, you can have an image of the beach in front or behind your talent/video and appear in place when and how u want it. Example - If you want to popup buttons or other text around your video to reinforce the message. v_videobg='http://www.abcwebsite.com/images/image.gif';
|
| Freeze Frame the video when done |
When your video is finished playing you can have the option of freeze framing objects. This will compensate for users that didn’t make up their mind right away or want to replay video again immediately or in a few seconds. This will intern paint a mental picture for the users, almost like burning a visual image of the previously watched video into their memory. v_freezeonend='yes';
|
| Modify the Big Play button |
Play buttons are sometimes crucial for your videos. Just like your stereo equipment. How would u know about a specific function if you didn’t have a remote control? The play button is like your remote only you use your mouse to point and click for immediate response. The play button can be in any language u desire also. Some people would prefer having the video play at command or otherwise. Another key option is having your optional play button to appear on screen at an accurate time. v_clicktoplaywait='5000';
|
| Other Advanced Controls |
v_showcontrols='yes'; v_mcimage1='http://www.abccompany.com/replaybutton.swf'; v_bwidth='100'; v_chatbutton='yes'; |
| Optional Highlighters |
Remember when you where in college or you may still be, but the fact is, when you open your text book or journal and make important entries, to study, some people will normally highlight key point, dates, topics, etc to remember and have a good reference point. This is just like that, but only in digital form. Highlighters are not just “cool and neat”, they serve a purpose. Have them appear at key moments and spots or sections of your webpage to compliment your videos and interact with users like never before. So if you have 20 lines on a website, a high lighter option can show your users where to click and where to read while your video is being demonstrated. Your users don’t have waste time looking all over the page for one specific object. They can be directed immediately. You are allowed up to 5 highlighters per page. You may use one or more depending on your needs. Study the code provided below. The following code must be placed before your main video code.
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"> h1_enabled='' h2_enabled='' h3_enabled='' h4_enabled='' h5_enabled='' </SCRIPT> |
